Measurement A - To establish correct hat size, measure the circumference of the head

Measurement B - Select size based on total height of doll

Select the category that reflects the body type closest to your doll.  Measure the height of your doll and purchase the pattern as close to the height as possible.   If you doll falls between sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size.

We recommend making a trial of the pattern.  This is especially important if you are not sure of the body type or your doll falls in-between sizes.   The trial will only take a few minutes.  Cut the bodice out of paper toweling and sew or pin the shoulder seams.  Try on doll.  From here you can usually just hold up the sleeve and skirt pattern and check for length.  Also check the circumferences of the neckband, sleeveband or cuffs, legband, waistband, etc.  Then make any necessary adjustments.
